Being a makeup artist wasn’t always my dream. I played in my mom’s makeup here and there, but honestly had no idea my life would lead me here.  It wasn't until I as a freshman in college that my interest was sparked. I remember going to the Clinique counter with a friend so she could get a makeover, and being infatuated with the woman behind the counter.


“You really seem like you love what you do,” I told her. And I’ll never forget what she said to me.

“Yes, I do, and you would be great at it.”

Over the years, I’ve enjoyed working for prestigious makeup brands, including a 15-year stint at Bobbi Brown. Fast forward 20 years, and I continue to do makeup for television, editorial photoshoots, numerous brides, and more. Makeup is my life, and I have that passionate Clinique lady to thank.

Back when I worked behind the counter, I loved being a “makeup psychic.” It still thrills me to be able to pinpoint exactly what you are looking for. I always want to know your vibe, and figure out what you’d feel most comfortable in. I want to help you find your go-to, everyday products. This is what inspired my new makeup collection.

My hope for the Carrie Wilson Makeup Collection is that it provides you with easy-to- wear, easy-to- use products to add to your makeup arsenal. I’ve picked products that can be easily paired with one another. They can be dressed up or dressed down, depending on what you’re going for. I want you to have the right tools to do the job, and I believe my line has a little something for everyone.
